Circle Performance II

Materials – Charcoal (Willow), Paper. 

 

For my second ‘Circle’ I wanted to see how it would look if it were photographed rather than video recorded, I wanted to test the flexibility of the possible performative aspect of the piece. Could it still work if the performance wasn’t documented at all? Would the momentum and marks tell the narrative of the performance? (For these reasons there is no video footage of circle II being performed) 

 

  In this circle I used a mixture of my own music that I meditate to and also a very small selection of recordings I had prepared for myself. By including these recordings (Below).
